Though it originated in Hollywood, the #MeToo movement has spread like wildfire to nearly every industry and community. Online, gaming, and fan communities are not exempt. In 2014, the YouTube community experienced its own #MeToo moment. Our communities rebounded, and significant change has occurred, but there is more to be done if we are to continue to make progress together. Join some of your favorite content creators and leaders of Uplift: Online Communities Against Sexual Violence to discuss how we can utilize the power and energy of this movement.
