Matt Maggiacomo has been unable to pry himself from the Harry Potter fandom since his first performance as The Whomping Willows in 2005. That gig spiraled into a career as a full-time wizard rock musician, and that career led him to meet some game-changing people — including his wife, Lauren Fairweather of The Moaning Myrtles. Matt also became acquainted with the Harry Potter Alliance (HPA) and joined its original Board of Directors in 2007. Now, several years later, Matt works as the HPA’s Executive Director. Matt enjoys gardening and being a cat lady in his spare time.
